Twin Towers NYC Adult Wrestling

You must have a current USA Wrestling Membership card, otherwise you cannot get on the mat.

WHO WE ARE:

Twin Towers Wrestling Club is an adult wrestling club based out of John Jay College in Manhattan (899 10th Avenue, New York, NY 10019). With wrestlers that range from beginners to seasoned veterans ages 18-70, our club dates back over 175 years to our original founding as the YMCA Wrestling Club. 

We are proud to call ourselves the only open-mat adult wrestling club in the city, and strive to create a safe, competitive environment among wrestlers of all ages, genders and skill levels.

WHAT WE DO

Our practices run two hours and are an open-mat format where wrestlers train or learn at their own pace. 

We primarily practice folk style (collegiate) wrestling but freestyle and Greco-Roman competitors are welcome. New members are encouraged to approach veterans for one-on-one coaching.

SCHEDULE  

Every Monday and Wednesday from June 2, 2025 to August 27, 2025, 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm for a total of 26 days.

HOW TO JOIN

Any wrestler wishing to participate in practice must first complete the following steps:

1. Create a profile on USA Wrestling (https://www.usawmembership.com)

2. Complete the SafeSport certification test on the USA Wrestling website.

3. Pay the USA Wrestling membership fee. 

4. Affiliate your USA Wrestling profile with the Twin Towers Club. To affiliate with our club on the USA Wrestling website: Profiles -> Manage Profile -> Add Club Affiliation -> search for "Twin Towers" in the club name -> click the button "Affiliate Club" 

Because of our contract with John Jay College you cannot actively participate without a current USA Wrestling membership. You are, however, welcome to observe.

RATES/PAYMENT

Rates for the June-August session are $150 for all practices or $25 per individual practice. Individual practice payments WILL NOT be credited towards the full payment option. Payments should be directed via Zelle to twintowerswrestling@gmail.com. In order to help us keep our accounting with John Jay, we ask that anyone wishing to pay the $150 do so on or before June 1, 2025. Anyone paying the day fee must do so 24 hours before you step on the mat. Any and all issues should be directed to the Board at twintowerswrestling@gmail.com.
